Back in my newspaper reporter days I actually covered a wedding in the local McDonalds. As the bride walked down the aisle of tables affixed to the floor with her white dress billowing and flowing behind her, all I could think was, “Did somebody mop up the french fry grease first?” The second thing I thought was, “What if a patron needs to use the restroom?” Becasue the wedding party & pastor dude were all pretty much blocking access to that area of the establishment. I still say, just because you meet at a McDonalds does not mean you need to get married at a McDonalds. Seriously.
