Holding Our Own

29 weeks today!  Wahoo!!!

Peri appointment yesterday was very good.  Cervix is now 8 mm, which for anyone else would be a catastrophe, but for me, is “hey, no change!  woot!”  Both girls decided to bury their faces in my back, so there are no good u/s pics (ah, well, if that’s the worst thing that happens at a peri visit…) but they’re measuring beautifully.  Watson is 2 lbs 12 oz, and Crick is 2 lbs 13 oz, both of which are right at 50th percentile.  Watson’s still head down, Crick is still breech, so a vaginal delivery is still an option (although it would be nice if Crick would flip, she’s shown no intention of doing so.)  I think they’re comfy this way, with the bigger parts staggered like they are.  So, we’re just continuing on the same road.

And I just realized, what with almost 6 lbs of baby in there, no wonder I feel like a baby killer whale!  Holy moly!

Still no shower pictures, but here’s the 28 wk belly.

De-lurking to say that you look great! If I didn’t know already, I’d never guess there were 2 babies in there.

Can’t wait to watch the rest of this story unfold. I send you positive little “grow those babies” vibes every chance I get. 🙂
