Resolutions Revisited

We’re 1/4 of the way through the year already (how did that happen?) so I’m revisiting my New Year’s Resolutions.  (Thanks for the idea, Nicki!)
1) Finish a cross-stitch project this year.  A real one, for me, in a frame.  I’ve worked on this a bit, but it needs more attention.  Maybe I need to schedule [...]

Overheard in the ER

After reading an allergy list with over thirty items on it…
No, ma’am, the fact that XYZ medication was not effective for your illness does not constitute an allergy.
Head, meet desk.

To Do

My current To Do list (or “why I’m not posting more.”)
Finish baby Easter baskets
Clean out weeds from asparagus-beds-to-be and amend soil as necessary.

Sorry, Emma.

2) There is a tiny sensor in every baby’s brain that will wake her from [...]

Chatty Cathy

Both of my babies have turned into talkers the last few days (gee, wonder where they got that from?) and I’ve had so much fun talking to them, and listening to them answer in that special brand of baby gibberish.  I hadn’t even considered, though, how sweet it would be when they talked to each [...]

Signs

So it’s Friday the 13th, right?  And I just went out to lunch with Starbuck (and the tiny ones, one of whom insisted on creating a ginormous poo right at the table – no manners, these infants) and my bill was $6.66.
I’m thinking I should just take it as a sign and go to bed [...]
